Shield parted per pale of Vert and Argent, at dexter an antler Argent, at sinister a branch of thorn Vert, chief wavy Or charged with a dolmen Gules.
Meaning:
The arms are based on elements from the arms of the different municipalities in the comprehensive municipality. The dolmen in chief is taken from the arms of Lähden. The horn is taken from the arms of Herzlake proper, whereas the thorn branch is taken from the arms of Dohren. The wavy line of partition is symbolising the three rivers in the area, the Hasse, Mittelradde and Südradde. The colours red and gold in chief are also symbolising the Bishopric of Münster, to which the area belonged from medieval times until 1803. The green colour is symbolising the green character of the municipality.

Shield parted per pale of Vert and Argent, charged with a thorn bush in couterchanged colours, chief wavy Or charged with a deer antler Gules.
Meaning:
The deer antler is a canting symbol for Herzlake comprehensive municipality, to which the municipality belongs, the name "Herzlake" means "Hirschdorf", or deer-village. The colours red and yellow are taken from the Bishopric of Münster, to which the village belonged until 1803. The line of partition is symbolising Welle River. The lower half shows a canting thorn bush , which at the same time is symbolising the former municipalities Groß-Dohren and Klein-Dohren. The green colour is symbolising the rural character of the municipality.
The arms were approved on 5 March 1990.

Shield parted per pale wavy, at dexter Gules three balls Or in pale, at sinister Or a deer antler Gules in pale.
Meaning:
The deer antler is a canting symbol, the municipality's name means "Hirschdorf", or deer-village. The three balls are an attribute of St. Nicholas, patron saint of the local parish church. The line of partition is symbolising Hase River. The colours red and yellow are taken from the Bishopric of Münster, to which the village belonged until 1803.

Shield Vert, two bends sinister wavy Argent, chief Or charged with a dolmen Gules.
Meaning:
The dolmen is a symbol for the ancient population of the area. Many dolmens can be found in the municipality. The five stones are representing the five hamlets and villages in the municipality. The colours red and yellow are taken from the Bishopric of Münster, to which the village belonged until 1803. The bends wavy are representing the rivers Mittelradde and Südradde. the green colour is symbolising the rural character of the municipality.
