Shield Azure; six impending connected lozenges Argent in fess; in base a bar wavy Argent over a barrulet wavy Argent.
Meaning:
The lozenges are symbolising the six municipalities of Boldecker Land. Bar and barrulet wavy are symbolising the Elbe Lateral Canal and the numerous ponds of the comprehensive municipality.

The frond is alluding to the nature-sanctuary of Vogelmoor, where many rare plants are growing, especially ferns like royal fern (Latin: Osmunda regalis), lady fern (Latin: Athyrium filix-femina) or bracken (Latin: Pteridium aquilinum).

Bokensdorf Coat of Arms

Shield Or, under a chevron Gules in chief an annulet Gules open to chief.
Meaning:
The open ring is symbolising a Rundling, a typical form of circular village in the area. Both settlement cores of the villages and the perished settlement of Derne had these form. The merger of both settlement cores is symbolised by the chevron, here meaning a roof. The tinctures are those of the Welfen kin, to which the municipality belonged at least since 1357. The arms were approved on 8 July 1993 by the local council.

The flag is in use but had never been approved officially. The arms were adopted on 8 July 1993 by the local council. In §2 of the local Hauptsatzung, version 24 November 2011, no proper flag is mentioned.

Shield Argent, a linden leaf Vert, charged with an annulet Argent open to chief.
Meaning:
The leaf is symbolising the seven local linden trees, being natural monuments. The most famous one is the Uhlenboom (= owl tree), which plays a role in local tales and legends. The green colour is symbolising agriculture. The open ring is symbolising a Rundling, a typical form of circular village in the area and is representing the historical settlement core of the municipality.

Meaning:
The lion issuant is a modification of the county arms and the arms of the Duchy of Braunschweig-Lüneburg as well. Mount and barrulet wavy are representing Vorsfelder Werder, a local moraine (German: Geestrücken), and Kleine Aller (= little Aller) a local creek.

Shield parted per bend sinister, above right Azure a lion issuant Or armed and tongued Gules, beneath left Argent a fess wavy Azure and a heart Gules in base.
Meaning:
Lion and heart are symbolising the historical affiliation with county and district of Lüneburg. Both charges also appear in the arms of Lüneburg city and county. The position of the lion is symbolising that district and county are superior to the municipality. The fess wavy is representing Aller River, it is W-shaped, as "W" is the first letter of the municipality's name. The heart also alludes to the fact that the municipality is "in the heart of the county". Most things have no longer a meaning, as the municipality was transferred to a different county.
