Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
In a red field is a silver(=white) embattled wall, which is superimposed by a red eagle's wing with a golden(=yellow) clover stem and topped by three silver(=white) embattled towers.
Meaning:
According to source the arms are those of the dissolved Amt Hausberge, which had been approved by the Oberpräsident of Westphalia province on 30 January 1935. The colours red and silver were those of the bishopric of Minden. The wing is taken from the arms of the lords from(!) Berge, which had been administrators (German: Stiftsvogt) of the bishops of Minden. Finally wall and towers are symbolizing the Schalksburg, the home of the lords from Berge.

Coat of Arms of Hausberge

Description of coat of arms:
The shield is divided per fess. Above in a red field is a pair of two silver(=white) keys crossed saltirishly. Below in a silver(=white) field is a red eagle's wing with a golden(=yellow) clover stem.
Meaning:
According to source the colours red and silver were those of the bishopric of Minden. The keys also are representing the bishopric. The wing is taken from the arms of the lords from(!) Berge, which had been administrators (German: Stiftsvogt) of the bishops of Minden.
