Shield parted per pale and pall reversed, above right Or three lozenged Gules ordered 2:1, above left Gules a dragon salient couchant Argent, below right Gules three balls Or in triangle, below left Or a fleur-de-lis Gules.
Meaning:
The name of the entity had been Mayen-Land Associated Municipality until 31 December 2001. The upper quarters display a differentiation of the family arms of the Counts of Virneburg at dexter and a differentiation of those of the Barons of Breidbach-Bürresheim at sinister. The lower quarters perhaps display attributes of St. Nicolas at dexter and of St. Mary at sinister.
