The flag is divided per bend into yellow - blue - yellow. In other words: The sheet is yellow superimposed by rectangular triangles in the lower hoist and upper fly corner. Their height is œ of total height. In the centre of the yellow stripe is the coat of arms.

Carlow Coat of Arms

The shield is blue superimposed by a silver (=white) wavy pale on the dexter side. On the sinister side is a golden (=yellow), rampant bear armed silver(=white) with a collar and a lasso also silver (=white).

Rehna Coat of Arms

In a golden (=yellow) field is a black bull's head caboshed, crowned golden (= yellow), armed silver (=white) and tongued red.
Meaning:
According to source the bull's head is symbolising, that the territory belonged to the Duchy of Mecklenburg since 1348.

Schlagsdorf Coat of Arms

The shield has a base showing waves of blue and silver (= white). The shield is divided per pale. The dexter side shows in a golden (= yellow) field a green branch of linden tree with four leaves. The sinister side shows in a red field a silver (=white) Latin cross topped by a golden (= yellow) coronet.
Meaning:
The number of leaves is the number of former municipalities being nowadays parts of Schlagsdorf. The wavy base is symbolizing water riches. The cross with coronet is alluding to the former Bishopric of Ratzeburg.
